GameSquare, a next-generation media company specializing in gaming and creator-led entertainment, has announced a new strategic partnership with international esports and gaming organization GGTech Entertainment. The collaboration aims to bring GGTech’s renowned esports festival, GAMERGY, to the United States, starting with a major event in Dallas, Texas, in March 2026.

The agreement gives GameSquare the rights to license GAMERGY in the U.S. and take the lead on expanding GGTech’s gaming events and operations in the American market. The two companies, both recognized for their expertise and scale in the industry, will work together to combine resources, technology, and their respective networks to deliver a series of immersive esports experiences.

“We are excited to join forces with GGTech,” said Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare. “This partnership aligns with our long-term strategy of scaling our growing agency and experiences business. By partnering with top-tier brands, gaming communities, and major festivals across the U.S., we have positioned GameSquare as a premier provider of innovative and culturally relevant experiences that resonate with next-gen audiences.”

GAMERGY, founded in 2016, is one of the world’s largest multicultural esports and gaming events, designed for video game fans of all ages. The festival has previously been held in countries such as Spain, Argentina, Egypt, Panama, El Salvador, and Mexico. In 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, GAMERGY events drew nearly 200,000 attendees.

The Dallas edition of GAMERGY in 2026 will mark the festival’s first major foray into the U.S. market. Dallas, known for its growing esports scene and home to North America's largest dedicated esports arena, is also the headquarters of GameSquare and FaZe Esports—two major players in the gaming world. GameSquare will lead strategy, event design, talent management, marketing, and operations for the festival.

“We’ve partnered with leading esports organizations across the globe to produce GAMERGY,” said Juan Diego García, CEO of GGTech America. “As we looked to expand our efforts to the U.S., GameSquare was the logical choice because of its proven event production, technology solutions, and marketing capabilities. This strategic partnership is a win-win for GGTech and GameSquare, as we combine forces to elevate the power of esports and gaming culture.”

In addition to the GAMERGY festival, the partnership will also extend into educational initiatives. GameSquare will work with GGTech’s well-established University Esports program
