Content:	Dillon “Attach” Price, one of the most iconic figures in Call of Duty esports, has officially announced his retirement from professional play after an impressive 11-year career. Known for his exceptional skills and game-changing performances, Attach leaves behind a legacy cemented by his status as the youngest-ever Call of Duty world champion. In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), Attach reflected on his journey, from his early days as a competitive gamer to achieving his childhood dream of becoming a professional player. "After 11 years of professional Call of Duty, it’s my time to hang the jersey up," Attach wrote. "The first moment I played this game, I instantly fell in love. Once I learned about Game Battles and Competitive CoD, it was my dream to become a professional player." Attach’s standout achievement came in 2015 when, at just 18 years old, he became the youngest player ever to win the Call of Duty World Championship. This historic win, earned while playing for Denial eSports, remains one of the defining moments of his career and a milestone that many consider the peak of his competitive journey. He reminisced about this triumph in his “Story of Attach” documentary, available on his YouTube channel, and frequently cited it as a career highlight. Reflecting on the friendships and experiences gained throughout his career, Attach expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported him throughout his time in the spotlight. "The fact that I was able to live out my childhood dream and meet so many amazing people along the way will be something I cherish for life," he added. "Without you, none of this is possible." Attach’s competitive career spans several prominent Call of Duty organizations, including FaZe Clan, Minnesota RØKKR, and most recently, Cloud9 New York. He competed across multiple Call of Duty titles, from Black Ops 6 to Ghosts, cementing his place as one of the most versatile and consistent players in the scene.
