Blockchain company Sign has officially entered the competitive Overwatch 2 scene through a new partnership with esports organisation NTMR, forming the [[Companies/Sign Esports Club|Sign Esports Club]] in time for the upcoming Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) Mid-Season Championship and the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of the deal, NTMR’s Overwatch 2 roster will temporarily compete under the Sign Esports banner. The team will debut new Sign orange jerseys and represent the brand throughout the EWC. Once OWCS Stage 3 begins, the roster is expected to return to NTMR’s control, in what has been described as a temporary loan arrangement. The transition was initially announced by NTMR, with Jack ‘Fl4k’ Ketchum, General Manager and CEO of NTMR, addressing fans on social media: “I am really sorry to the NTMR supporters. Had to do what was best for the team, their performance at EWC, and their future as pros,” he wrote. “I will be continuing to support them during this loan. I hope they have a great time practising in Korea and kill it at the event!” Ketchum also confirmed that the team will travel to South Korea for a bootcamp, where they will train ahead of the international competition. While the long-term plans for Sign Esports remain unclear, the organisation hinted at bigger ambitions beyond the EWC. In an official statement, Sign called this venture “the beginning of a new frontier,” noting that it aims to pursue “ambitious objectives in multiple areas” going forward.
