TALON Esports, has officially been removed from two major competitive circuits: VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific and League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP). Both leagues announced this decision recently, explaining that TALON's financial issues were the main reason for its removal. The team shared that it has been struggling with financial problems due to delays in receiving funding from its current investors. These delays have made it difficult for TALON to continue operations and compete in top-level esports competitions. The financial troubles have had a big impact on the team's ability to manage its business and support its players. The LCP also mentioned that [[Companies/TALON Esports|TALON Esports]] was given several chances to resolve these financial problems. Despite these extensions, the team was unable to meet the necessary requirements to stay in the League of Legends Pacific region, leading to its removal from the league. This situation isn’t the first time TALON has faced financial challenges. Earlier, the team was involved in a controversy over not repaying interest on a $1 million loan. In addition, Chang ‘Zod’ Po-Cheng, a former TALON streamer, revealed during a live stream that the organization still owes him several months' worth of salary. This only added to concerns about TALON's financial stability. TALON’s removal is a big deal for the esports community. For VALORANT, this marks the second team to leave the VCT Pacific this year, following KOI in Europe. In League of Legends, TALON was one of the top teams in the Pacific region and even represented the region at this year's World Championship. Losing such an important team will have a major impact on both leagues. With TALON no longer competing in these leagues, both VCT Pacific and LCP will need to find new teams to take their place. Jake ‘Jaker’ Sin, the Head of VALORANT Esports in APAC, said, “As for a replacement team, we’re going to run a selective application process to find one before our 2026 season begins. Our priority is to identify a team that can resonate with our Thai community to ensure we maintain representation in VCT Pacific.” '''More:'''[[News/TALON and United Esports Partners with Apeiron|TALON and United Esports Partners with Apeiron]]
