This island will feature training facilities, a tournament venue, content creation spaces, and hotels for esports personnel. The project is the culmination of extensive research involving over 100 esports organizations, including teams like Virtus.Pro, Team Spirit, teams from North and South America, Europe, and MENA. The island aims to establish Abu Dhabi as a prominent global esports destination, offering world-class infrastructure and facilities for gaming enthusiasts and professionals alike. Anton Vasilenko, CEO and co-founder of True Gamers, stated '''“True Gamers conducted a comprehensive market analysis of the MENA region’s esports landscape and the global esports industry’s growth trajectory before esports Island development. This in-depth analysis gives us the confidence that the proposed business model will be instrumental in bringing esports Island to life.”'''
